 WORKSHOP SERIES ON MIGRATION, GLOBALIZATION AND THE KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY

The Economic Urban Transitions (EUT) at the Department of Human Geography and Planning of Utrecht University is pleased to announce the  2st workshop in the series on “Migration, Globalization and the Knowledge Economy”, to be held Utrecht, the Netherlands, May 16-17, 2019.

This workshop is the second of the “Workshop Series on Migration, Globalization and the Knowledge Economy”, which is meant to advance our understanding of high skilled migration and its relationship with knowledge creation, its diffusion, and its ultimate impact on innovation. It is a joint initiative of the Centre d’Études Prospectives et d’Informations Internationales (CEPII), the Paris School of Economics (PSE), the College of Management of Technology (CDM) at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), the Economic Urban Transitions at Utrecht University, GREThA CNRS UMR 5113 at the Université de Bordeaux, and ICRIOS research group at Bocconi University. The Series consist on four workshops in as many cities, starting with Paris (2018) and continuing in Utrecht (May 16-17, 2019), Milan (Spring 2020) and Bordeaux (Fall 2020).
