WORKSHOP SERIES ON MIGRATION, GLOBALIZATION AND THE KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY

The Centre d’Études Prospectives et d’Informations Internationales (CEPII), the Paris School of Economics (PSE), the College of Management of Technology (CDM) at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) are pleased to announce the 1st workshop in the series on “Migration, Globalization and the Knowledge Economy”, to be held at the CEPII premises, in Paris, November 27-28, 2018.

This workshop is the first of the “Workshop Series on Migration, Globalization and the Knowledge Economy”, which is meant to advance our understanding of high skilled migration and its relationship with knowledge creation, its diffusion, and its ultimate impact on innovation. It is a joint initiative of the Centre d’Études Prospectives et d’Informations Internationales (CEPII), the Paris School of Economics (PSE), the College of Management of Technology (CDM) at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), the Economic Urban Transitions at Utrecht University, GREThA CNRS UMR 5113 at the Université de Bordeaux, and ICRIOS research group at Bocconi University.The Series consist on four workshops in as many cities, starting with Paris on November 27-28, 2018 and continuing in and  Utrecht (Spring 2019), Bordeaux (Fall 2019), and Milan (Spring 2020).
